Christmas has come to Philadelphia, and it’sΒ magical! I actually don’t mind walking Annika in the cold because we pass by so many beautifully decorated houses. In case you missed last week’s post, I did a holiday fashion photoshoot with some bloggers with the Christmas tree in Rittenhouse Square, and I’ve also been photographing tons other Christmas decorations in Philadelphia like I did last year. I love how many people decorate their townhouses this time of year! If you want to see how people decorate their homes with Christmas decorations in Philadelphia, I highly recommend taking a stroll around Rittenhouse Square π
Along with Rittenhouse Square, I also go toΒ Christmas Village in City Hall and the Lucia Fest at the American Swedish Historical MuseumΒ every year because they are my two favorite Christmas events in Philly! And I still need to visit Boathouse Row to see their lights up at Christmas, though I have seen the lights on in the fall.
Outside City Hall in the Christmas Village has some beautiful Christmas lights π
The Christmas Village at City Hall is beautiful both during the day and at night!
Houses around Rittenhouse Square love decorating for Christmas, and it’s always so beautiful!
Delancey Street always goes all out with decorations
Rittenhouse Square is so beautiful with all the Christmas lights!

I love your photos, so beautiful!
Glad I joined the Entrepreneurs Embracing Temerity Group on Facebook and found your blog π
Happy holidays!
Thank you so much! π
It’s so festive! I hope the decorations are still up when I’m in Philly this year. It’s not all out like this where I am in California, but LA did recently have SantaCon!

I know the Christmas Village will be up for a little while after Christmas! π
Merry Christmas, Julia! You pictures are beautiful. Last year, my favorite was a window sill with wood, pine cones, berries and greenery. Maybe I am fascinated with window sills since we rarely see them here, so my favorite this year is the window sill that you chose as your cover pic at the beginning of your blog. Again, Merry Christmas and I hope your new year is fabulous!
Thank you! Merry Christmas! π
Thank you for sharing. I always love looking at Christmas decorations!
I do, too! I’ll have a few more Christmas decorations posts up soon π
